I wonder what Kendrick's plan is
He got his fun little album off but Drake came back and did numbers and #TheNarrative has shifted back to Kendrick being corny even if Drake's reputation took a sizeable hit.....
Kendrick will never do Drake numbers, and NLU was a once in a lifetime occurence........ big standards to live up to
And I don't feel like the people are craving new Kendrick music rn
All I can see is a pivot back to mysterious music (which he does well!) with a new album this winter or early next year..............

I think it's more appropriate to split this into two Great Wars, much like what was fought by our ancestors in the Lost and Greatest Generations respectively.
Tension was brewing for the better part of a decade until boom, the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand (Like That feat)
Kendrick won the first war by a mile wide margin with the success of NLU
We're at the start of WW2 right now. Which I guess would make Drake Hitler and Iceman his invasion of Poland.
