you feel as though landscapes are your weakness?

I can do landscapes and nature pretty well, but only if i really take my time.

but in layout, I have to be able to get this stuff down in like 15-20 minutes tops. maybe less. and that’s what my weakness is.

its figuring out how to cut down the details enough and still make it read equally as clear as if i spent a lot of time on it.

my one true weakness, is animals. I have a probably another year or two of drawing them everyday before theyre even close to acceptable unfortunately

and just animals in general? does this mean people are hard to draw as well or do you understand the anatomy well enough to where theyre an exception?

just animals. people are by far my strongest asset. I know the anatomy so well it’s like automatic. obviously theres a lifetime of more stuff to learn, but it’s at a high enough level for a career.

animals, the anatomy is totally different. and every animal is different. the best you can do is categorize them by like hoofed, dog, cat, horse, fish etc. but you have to sit down and learn the anatomy of every single one

vs people as long as you know men, women anatomy along with kids proportions, youre good. so its just a long process.
