You don’t. Tbh, you don’t even have to like one song to appreciate an artist or band. I think Queen is insanely talented, individually speaking, especially May and Mercury, but their music isn’t my cup of tea.

save me’s review of revolver after 2 full listens
it’s actually crazy how excited i was 2 listen 2 this album.. & this is how i feel afterwards.. i feel like i’m missing something but i’m only gonna be honest, could care less about fitting in with the cool kids.. if i don’t like it i don’t like it, it doesn’t mean that i’m hating
the songwriting has improved, they were definitely thinking outside of the box on this album but i don’t feel like it was executed as good as it could have been.. maybe i really just don’t like their psychedelic influenced music, which is very odd because i am a huge fan of psychedelic inspired music..

here there & everywhere - such a beautiful song.. they really outdid themselves with the background harmonies, absolutely gorgeous
got 2 get u in2 my life - so groovy, i am probably the most familiar with this song, the music is just
absolutely amazing songeleanor rigby - well, obviously this is gonna be a favorite, i could probably listen 2 this song everyday 4 the rest of my life & still never get tired of it

Revolver is an interesting album because it’s the first time in The Beatles discography where you can really start to see Paul takeover as the creative leader. From Please Please Me up to Rubber Soul it’s very much Johns group but from here on out it’s definitely the Paul show save for The White Album which felt like 4 solo albums featuring each other on multiple tracks.
