    That's generally good practice

    But you can still get a good idea of people's impressions and what tubes they like to match with it. And since it uses cheap 5670 tubes, you're not gonna see any "well to get the full potential out of this amp you need to buy this rare $600 tube" comments

    I find that you gotta be a lot more careful with trusting people's impressions of expensive gear vs cheap gear. When people spend a lot of money on something, they subconsciously wanna like it so bad that they're much more likely to enjoy it and recommend it others regardless of the quality

    With budget gear, people don't mind s***ting on stuff when it's really not good or just average, and the Vali 3 is a budget amp with a very good reputation.
