hero's arc/coming of age tied into 1 cohesive little movie about rebellion against evil
s/o to the vietnam war for inspiring the idea of small militias beating big guys

finished the comic!
I think this is a great introduction into superhero comics, because even though its technically is one, its closer to a reimaginaing of greek mythology than like wonder woman in the justice league.
Which I think is really great twist on wonder woman to put emphasis on that part of her lore. I also love classic and greek mythology so Im biased to that anyway.
The art in both runs (1-5) and 6-7 was top notch. Sometimes Marvel and DC art can be lazily done where it’s such a machine, but this was done with a lot of care and skill. The way the panels were laid out were so dynamic and fantastic it felt fresh the whole way through. I also loved the little diana water colour comic strips at the end of the issues.
There was a lot of heart put into it, even though it was a light hearted comic. Little quips about letting your kids go and stuff I think was very heartfelt and genuine. There was a lot of care put into the comic.
And it was just a really cool world to explore for an hour.
When i was growing up reading superhero comics this is exactly the kinda stories i enjoyed reading. Nothing too deep, but made with a lot of care and skill. Just really pleasant and puts you in a good mood.

i imagine the worst of the withdrawels are over atleast
definetly. its stil pretty bad but im eating and getting 8 hours of sleep broken up into 2 chunks so its manageable! first week was really bad lol

literally only two people can find a single hour to read some comics reliably in the 168 hours given I guess! No one else including u can find the mental fortitude to get that done I guess
