always loved music and tried to listen when i could. things like my aunt driving around letting me listen to cds or her ipod with her, or my brother who is a decade older than me keeping me knowledgable on the good stuff

i will say specifically, being a kid during the wayne/nicki/drake takeover def impacted me a lot

it was a very niche crowd 2 begin with, pretty sure every1 who didn’t know would’ve been pleasantly surprised 2 learn that anyway

@saveme Told you that he had older folks around him putting him on game. I said possibly his dad but it turned out to be his aunt and older brother. Sizzy, my brother had me listening to mixtapes and watching his favorite music videos lol

My dads a big music lover too yeah but my bro def had the biggest impact would be a kid hearing him play his favorite dipset/ g unit cuts, later on as a teen lived with him for a few years too and got to f*** with his CD collection big brothers always know whats up

Two of my older brother's favorite groups too. I was listening to all the G-Unit radios and Kay Slay Dipset mixtapes too. Now I love them as much as he did. He wasn't big into NERD but he had In Search Of and that took me by storm. Changed my life fr. Little did he realize an album that he brushed off would impact his younger sibling's life this way. I will do the same with my children. It's going beyond Rap too.
