There's nothing wrong with being motivated in a different way from the rest of people. That's healthy and good. If you're motivated by just experiences and joy that's great do that!

    But

If that's truly the case then there's no reason to attack the values other people have. That won't get you any closer to what you say you're looking for. You're putting yourself in a little box for no reason separated from the rest of the world.

    wut r u motivated by?

i also think my layers of insecurity stemming from "a bih never liked me back" and heteronormative movies like American pie making it seem like f***ing is the all mighty most important center of the universe task along w the obvious goonerbrainrot contributes as well

but yes my contrarianism does make me relate less to others and make me often discredit and disrespect in an disestablishmentarian manner

i have no regard or care for most things really. i just also have a deep hatred and distrust of humans that ive been softening on too

idk i think im just fearful of the unknown and my past traumas of ppl always treating me like im ugly and irredeemable garbage gives me a inferiority complex that eats away at me slowly

I think you realize you think differently and it drives you to discredit the people around you because that scares you a bit. You describe your thoughts in a very bold way like you are very confident in how you feel about the world, but then you actually think in a way that shows that the fact that you think so differently from others might scare you or make you uncomfortable. You feel the need outwardly question them to distract you from the fact that you are questioning yourself

That's normal though people feel compelled to like disregard what they personally can't understand because it scares them

ok im questioning myself but im always questioning myself thats why one of my motifs was i strive for ignorance cuz when will i ever have all the answers i want its an endless pursuit for a fruitless task. we all die anyway whats the point of knowing everything. plus perspective is just one brain's take on something. its awful pompous and npd of myself to think my perspective is THE perspective on every topic, especially when i also claim to be socially retarded

    Whats ur prescription

    pregabalin (brand name lyrica)

its like gabapentin. its usually given for seizures disorders but i was perscribed it for anxiety and bad restless leg syndrome.

ive only been on it for 6 months!
i find it flattens my emotions when im on it, but it does help. idk if the trade off is worth it or not

You're like most of the way there I think

You realize that's a pointless task

So just don't worry about it

You say you realize it's an unhealthy way to think and then it seems like you still base your thoughts around it. That's bad. You need to completely let it go.

I’ve always thought they should attach some sort of kinetic energy harvester to the legs of people with restless leg syndrome and we could power the world for free
