yup! it depends on the demographic youre polling. some groups alcohol is higher, some groups heroin is higher.
but generally speaking theyre within the same range.

and id argue the vast majority of people seeking out heroin are not these educate d*** nerds like me who are doing it safely, but people who are essentially suicidal and very mentally unstable. which makes the addiction rates even higher, compare to alcohol which almost every adult tries. which skews the results.
