people here are sheltered racist and ignorant. or white “woke” out of touch blue hair people.
very corrupt government. to the point where multi billion dollar fraud is committed blatantly (200k people live her btw, not a lot of people to rip billions off of)
very insular and people here are so patriotic and proud and its like there is nothing notable about here lol.
there are no none government jobs, no industry, nothing. we only exist becasue canada transfers money to us.
its super expensive to live here compare to elsewhere. outside of housing (which is still like 70% the cost of a house in a major city, but it is cheaper). but groceries and stuff here are a fortune. alcohol everything is a fortune.
there is no variety for anything, food here is terrible.
you have order stuff in if you want anything but because its an island in the middle of nowhere it takes weeks.

yes that is the dog named after our island
the province is called newfoundland and labrador. labrador is east of quebec and on the mainland, while newfoundland is an island far out in the ocean, but its all considerd the same province.
labarador retrievers are named after labrador, the other part of my province
