I think there are plenty of batman stories that could be a good choice but I also don't see the issue with usagi yojimbo

there is none. you literally picked one fo the best comics ever written, all created by 1 guy. and it was somthing none of us had read and many hadn’t heard of. perfect choice. if that doesnt move the needle, then comics probabyl aren’t their thing

@Extraterrestrial ive thrown in a few suggestions for this weeks comic. My vote is either volume 2+ of usagi. maybe just finish the run before it switches over to dark horse. or my list of comics to pick from i gave the page before

I have lots of comics to suggest. but if you have anything suggest it too!!

It's also pretty episodic

So we can jump around to other things and not really lose track or anything like that

But maybe some people are only interested in like superhero comics

yeah for sure. its a good balance of continuity but also being episodic. hard to do that.

i refuse to concede to people only wanting superheroes.
there are lots of great superhero comics i can suggest and we will def read some if we keep comic club going, but the best comics are not superhero

another suggestion of mine is we all read that how to make comics comic, because its such a f***ing great read, i think ET would get a kick out of it and id love to re read it again

my suggestions should be after you and et’s suggestions though because I just have so many I want you guys to read what youre interested first

Usagi yojimbo is very long there are 7 whole books before it switches to dark horse

We would be multiple months in by the time we got to that point at our current pace and years away from finishing the series

Like taking turns feels the most fair and on my weeks we can just bounce back to usagi yojimbo since it's reliable and we know we already enjoy it
