One week I worked less hours, and got paid more

This week I worked 1.5 hours overtime and I am getting paid LESS THAN a week where I worked 39 hours

How does this work? They are stealing from me !!!!!!!!!

The math is not mathing I have looked at it

The deduction for my taxes is randomly 50 dollars more !!!!!!

So instead I compared it to a week where I worked even more hours, and that time the deduction was less!!!!!??

What might be happening is that the overtime increased your deduction, because withholdings assume that you get that much every paycheck

It doesn’t matter in the long run cause you’ll get it back on the refund but yes annoying for sure

But on a week where I had more overtime the deduction was less !

It fluctuates paycheck to paycheck cause it’s calculating like 100 factors. How much Medicare and stuff you pay, etc. But as long as the gross pay is accurate and not the problem, you’ll still get anything that was overdeducted back.
