so it's an archaic term that has no use in todays world whatsoever

Yeah there's no point anymore really with the Internet especially we can easily categorize and find things now

I do think maybe people go a bit too far with the super specific subgenres though

But there's a balance

There's a few genres I group together in my HDD

Classical
Reggae/Dub
Jazz
House
World (which contain folders of countries like Brazil, Korea etc)

The rest are artist folders

Well it would depend on the fall

That'll all come in handy when I get back into producing

Like if you fell off a ladder fixing a window or doing trades work you might be a parsnip

But if you fell like skateboarding or skiing you could be a carrot or something
