One of my favorite early 2000s pop/r&b albums. Being backed by Timbaland and The Neptunes in their primes (as well as a Brian Mcknight produced cut), Justin takes the leap from boy to man in his star studded solo debut. The singles are obviously all iconic, but I think even the album cuts like What You Got, Last Night, Take Me Now, etc all bang man. The Michael and Stevie worship is on full display, and I think Justin does a great job selling it. Especially in Take It From Here, to quote Tyler, The Creator "that song is all bridge"
Still the blueprint for boybanders going solo in the past 25 years, and I think it holds up really well. Slightly angle your von dutch and let Justin serenade you for an hour.
FSLS is still his best album (20/20 isn't), but Justified makes a great justification for itself being his second best record. Every song slaps, and it's a fantastic representation of the early 2000s pop/r&b sound.
