TuneOvOutyeah exactly. criminal records and preventing people from getting jobs only going to worsen addictions by significantly worsening the circumstances of their lives they can barely cope with already.
creates a cycle by taking parents out of households away from their children by being in jail/prison.
traumatizes people in prison since their so inhumane anyway.
other than treating it like a medical issue to save people from the toxic d*** crisis, there needs to be so many complex and diverse social programs to slowly alleviate as many social factors thats contribute to addiction as possible. which is a multi generational scale project.
helping get rid of the stigma of d*** users (the vast majority are normal, high functioning, working people, even if theyre addicts) helps.
The "drugs r bad arrest them" crowd doesn't understand the cats out of the bag arrest everyone and they will immediately be replaced by people supplying and using more d****

i think its in human nature in a lot dog the flies desperate situation sense. but most people with all their needs met are nice none violent people.
the issue is sociopaths excel in our current power structure and people dont have enough of a voice or power to prevent them from operating against their wishes.but i agree im goign out to see my 98 year odl nan tomorrow on a 6 hour road trip and its 3 am so i gotta go to bed soon too lmaoo we arent goign to solve war on a kanye fan site tonight unfornautely

we selfish by default. some people learn to have more empathy or sense of community than others. but the default is still selfishness. and conquering is just a way to feed that selfishness.

ya idk how people dont undertsand that. and its eveyrbody who has the burden of it. more violence, loved ones dying for no reason, genius people dying for no reason.
if you can’t keep d**** out of prisons, the supposedly most secure places in the world, you wont be able to do it in a full country, its impossible. gotta just work with the reality of it instead of denying it.
