WESLEYS THEORYI go on Apple Music and Spotify and look up the 35 most popular songs. Then I’ll add 5 personal favorites and get it to 40, then I cut it down to the songs I think have the greatest chance of winning on here.
After organizing the setlist, I’ll go and match songs from the opp that I think could be beat with a song on my list or would be a great matchup. I don’t do it for every song, but I do it for about 75% of the list. The upcoming coast VZ is the first time ever I’m not matching songs because it’s impossible to determine who will use what.
Yeah top songs on Apple and Spotify and ktt's top songs don't always align then you have niggas who grew up with their music who wants to hear this and that. It's tricky. I feel like the only time I was able to please everyone was in my Rocky VZ.

I don’t do it all in one day, I usually spread it out over a few days.
And I enjoy the work. Gives me a greater appreciation for the artist I’m repping. This especially happened with Mac. His discography is f***ing huge!

I do that but it never works because the nature of the game is unpredictable. I could have a song lined up for another song and they could use that song to reply to something entirely different.
