how can I tell?
normal hard drives plug w a sata cable and power
m2 ssds are slots on ur motherboard rite?
also for some reason my acc is buggin on ktt it keeps showing my latest time is 8mins
so my pc is out of storage on the current SSD and im looking to upgrade it. But I saw tht i can't add an extra SSD cause my motherboard only has one M2.Slot and I could just swap this SSD with a new one but then transfering sounds like a pain.
Should i just get a hard drive instead? Is it easy to install?

What are you using the storage for? Like long term cold storage ie movies music photos etc or like active storage like games programs etc?
If first one just grab a hard drive and even a cheap external enclosure if you don’t have room in the PC. Otherwise I’d upgrade the SSD it shouldn’t take long to transfer over.

id rather stack storage than swap it
hopefully season pass makes rip chip acquistion easier (without spending moneyyyy)
lol

If he can benefit from the ssd speeds then I think it’d be better to upgrade. If it’s just long term data storage than yeah just grab a hard drive.

Standard ssds are cheaper than m.2 drives so you could store media on those

Yeah grab a sata ssd and move anything long term or not critical onto that one and keep games windows etc on your m2
