I think that definitely influences people's opinions, but I also think that people aren't listening to the s*** that comes out nowadays and saying "oh my god this is so ass I don't understand it". The reaction is more "this is unbelievably boring and something I've heard 1000 times"
That being said, there's been some solid mainstream rap this year. Clipse was obviously fire, I liked Alfredo 2 as well. But even that isn't Rap Caviar type mainstream music. There was a time you could turn on Rap Caviar and hear some great music instead of repetitive, boring, derivative slop.
thats my whole point. mfs are bitter and washed and jaded. s*** was fresher to them when they was younger cuz it was newer

Depends on the album. I wouldn't necessarily say any of her albums are "accessible" but DJ E might be a good place to start. Los Thuthanaka is f***ing awesome too, one of the best albums of 2025.
