I mean even if you don’t like the music itself, seeing the songs reapproached and recontexulized was pretty cool. And if you didn’t like those versions, you could always just listen to the OGs anyway.

yeah my thing is that almost all of the unplugged album versions dont improve on actual songs in any way theyre usually just worse
even for a band like AiC whose Unplugged people love for the context, the fact that theyre already a great acoustic band...I still never ever return to those versions
i dont think its bad but I think my answer for a while for "most overrated album ever" question was Nirvana's MTV Unplugged. i just dont get it
