e tYeah, I don’t understand why the little kid didn’t become the new soul eater or whatever considering he cast the same spell and took over control of those kids. Also all the houses had ring cameras except the ones on the street of the house they were in?
This aren't my issues with it really
If we are going with the whole symbolic explanation for the movie having cameras/paying attention to everywhere but the source of the issue works if the movie is about addiction and how it can effect a community
I think the spell was to illustrate the control it can have over people and he broke the spell and began to save his community by helping them recover to their former selves

Right I agree. That’s why that explanation makes it make sense to me. But if we think about the movie literally, there’s a lot of plot holes
