The origin of the episode is pretty funny. Trey and Matt were adamant about not doing an MJ episode because everyone was cracking MJ jokes at the time (Same reason they refused to directly parody Trump until they found a fresh and creative way to lampoon him this year), but they both were so burnt out because of doing Team America: World Police, that they just said f*** it and chucked the episode out to meet the quota.

Pretty good for a "filler" episode I'd say. Def prime South Park.
