Was like the perfect balance of what made them great without saying dated
A lot of legacy rap albums like the recent Wu-Tang don’t know how to pull it off like Tribe did.
The album is incredibly sad
I honestly think Tip and Ali finishing that album in the midst of Phife’s death changed both of them. Neither one of them had seemed genuinely happy since and it makes me sad
And the fact that they aren’t on good terms anymore makes me sadder
