theres more payola nowadays but discovery is still very doable
If you like click around a bunch yeah
But for the most part you can do that on apple music too
Spotify used to have a separate tab that would recommend projects based on what you have been listening to
And it still kinda exists but is only half as good

but also song radios r still fire and my algo pulls gems regularly
i will admit the payola is annoying tho
