A lot of 90s sample based beats are a bit too dusty for me (obviously there are exceptions)

But in the 2000s with Kanye/the heatmakerz/just blaze they found the sweet spot to where it doesn't sound old but it doesn't sound overly current to the time period so it still aged really well
