Get a referral. Find a way to meet someone in the company, find a family friend, meet them through a hobby, meet them at a some networking event, etc. But get a referral.
Just one of many many examples of why a referral is better, most companies have 2 pools of resumes, ones from indeed/linkedin/etc that has 100s if not 1000s of resumes, and 1 pool for referrals that probably has 5-10 resumes. Both have to be cleared by the end of each business day, which ones do you think are getting more attention.

So far, I feel pretty confident in this field. Nothing is too complicated for me just yet. Computers are just 1’s and 0’s, it’s math, expected outcomes. Plus, there’s a forum post for any issue you may face.
