Kdog evil ass
im just not sure i buy into all the stuff 100% where its just exactly like learning your first language as a baby
i dont see why it wouldnt be very possible for some people to acquire it more easily than others naturally like basically everything else in life
and dont children actually learn their native language at different paces anyway?
kids receive different levels of attention and input
they do say some do better, but on average people are average
I get where he's coming from cause im super passionate abt it too
but like idk maybe we should get people financially literate first
the love below is a solo album in all ways but metadata and contains one of the top 20 best singles ever released. hes done enough!!!
A language isn’t coding. And secondly doing an hour a day from the age where your brain actually learns it well would make it seem less
I agree and wouldve chosen it for myself - but my only issue is that it isnt realistic

Why do they call it a coding language then
@YungPapi thats also where im not just going all in on the stephen krashen comprehensible input/acquisition stuff
from what ive read the criticism about the hypotheses being either difficult to test or just not proven enough to speak so authoritatively about it makes sense to me. wouldnt be surprised at all if its proven more in the next decades but also wouldnt be surprised if there were some important distinctions/differences and the CI stuff turns out to just be very helpful and not perfect to follow like gospel the way it is now

one of my fav vinyls I own because it comes included with a bunch of freaky andre doodles and a thank you note
If big boi was the better artist of the two wouldn’t that mean that OutKast was just big boi ft Andre 3000?
bait before I get cooked again

The last part you learn via like visuals, sounds, reinforcements etc.
which is basically what DS/ input is although it is harder as an adult bc your brain is less malleable as far as creating new connections and s***. In fact languages learned as an adult are stored in a diff path of the brain than your native leading up you being more logical and potentially colder in your second bc it’s not stored in tht other place
I see your point ofc I’m just saying an hour a day during the school week from kindergarten til 12th you would have to have a legitimate impediment that effects even your native imo lmao around 5 and 6 through like 18 ish you have a greater capacity to learn a language in general
ab-soul should’ve had a more prosperous career man
Herbert the album was criminally underrated
He got super sad and tried to kill himself a few years back tho so that hampered him

I mean it works but it's incredibly inefficient -input probably works best in tandem with speaking and reading right away: i.e not being so adamant about accent
it's a bit restrictive as a method and hard to gauge someone's language skills and comprehension in manners which are measurable ( important for investors and grants)

I actually have no idea what’s going on in the convo but aren’t there studies that like learning language is good for your brain regardless of if using it is beneficial or not

What’s the debate at the moment?
alright I Do I Do I Do I Do…
You may not know right where you're going, but I do, I do, I do
What’s the debate at the moment?
purrp wants to have an hour dedicated in k-12 to a certain language learning method
im just tellin him I think it is a bit unrealistic for such a huge shift to occur because of funding and public perception of the necessity of it
