from what ive read the criticism about the hypotheses being either difficult to test or just not proven enough to speak so authoritatively about it makes sense to me. wouldnt be surprised at all if its proven more in the next decades but also wouldnt be surprised if there were some important distinctions/differences and the CI stuff turns out to just be very helpful and not perfect to follow like gospel the way it is now

In fact languages learned as an adult are stored in a diff path of the brain than your native leading up you being more logical and potentially colder in your second bc it’s not stored in tht other place

I mean it works but it's incredibly inefficient -input probably works best in tandem with speaking and reading right away: i.e not being so adamant about accent

it's a bit restrictive as a method and hard to gauge someone's language skills and comprehension in manners which are measurable ( important for investors and grants)
