KobeToThaDBZ is the daddy of every anime you love sadly
As one of the old heads who grew up on it, the pacing really was atrocious.
The moments the show as a whole produced will never go unappreciated tho
Also, might be time for an OG dragon ball rewatch
I know that’s why the manga and Kai are better

I started watching : "hey purrp this kinda sucks"
Purrp: it starts out slow but be careful season 2 sucks
I watch season 2: "hey I enjoyed that...."
Purrp: "that's weird but season 3 is when it gets great"
I watch season 3: "uhh hey purrp that kinda sucked..."
Purrp: "oh yeah I barely even remember season 3 but 4 is amazing"
I watch season 4: "wow that was good I'm excited to finish it"

The whole time Omar has been on screen and whenever anyone has discussed him I thought to myself "that's kinda dumb idk why they are all so scared of Omar everyone has guns"
But I held out
I went "I must be wrong there has to be something"
Then 5 seasons in he is gunned down by a literal child and I feel vindicated in believing his character was 100% just stupid plot armor
This is the worst show ever
Should have known it was plot armor when he survived like a 3 story fall. All that to die the next episode after getting b\*\*\*\*ed. There’s like an actual symbolism type thing to it all but when you just look at from your pov which I get - it’s goofy lmao

It’s super overrated because old heads grew up on it
Naruto is significantly better genuinely

The mcnulty character progression
Season 1-3 he's a drunk moron
Then in season 4 he finally becomes a non drunk moron
So in season 5 they take advantage of the growth and seize the opportunity to make him an even drunker bigger moron
Good cop the whole show until he like is a dirty cop to try to be a good cop??? That whole last plot line was AWFUL. The chick turning them in made sense but also she was kinda on some bs idk

They had the worst idea in the entire 5 seasons of the show and pushed it so far that it dramatically altered the conclusion for every part of the show
