Season 4 pros

• the school stuff was consistently interesting and I grew attached to the stories for all the kids
• Marlo showing how the game in the city was changing and becoming more brutal was interesting
• bubbles story arc was tragic and entertaining to watch

Season 4 cons

• God all the politics were so boring IDC about this mayor guy even a little or about the higher level cops or any of it
• Mcnulty didn't need to be in this season at all. I can't stand mcnulty. They barely had him in here and it was still too much. Them killing bodie and using it as fuel to bring mcnulty back like it was somehow supposed to be a payoff is maybe the worst thing ever. I hope he dies
• Omar isn't that interesting to watch anymore. Like I get his thing. Everyone is scared of Omar because he has the big gun. He's crazy. I don't know how he even gained this reputation because compared to multiple other people in the show he's pretty dumb and killing him would not make anyone else in the show lose anything. Idk how he isn't dead and why people are especially scared of him compared to everyone else in the show that also has guns
• Herc is an idiot. I can't stand him. Throughout the whole show he has been an idiot with no redeeming qualities.

His whole character is just so terrible

Everyone else he is around seems like they are dedicated to doing decent police work and then they cut to him and he's like "I'm a big cop we gotta get the bad guys we gotta go arrest them or like something. Yeah we have to beat up bad guys get them off the street!"
