also keep in mind that a lot of those buyers are apparently willing to overpay.
a lot of the stores i go into have new vinyl at absurd prices but the newer hobbyists still eat it up and buy the $50 taylor swift album or whatever

not always. i think its at least comparable a lot of the times for new records and for used records amazon is worse
but still yeah
If they’re beating Amazon on margin, idk how they’re staying in business. It’s the same kind of thing, I mean you still have to pay rent, your employees, upkeep, insurance, etc. to actually turn a profit seems impossible at those prices
