So I’m working with this director on 2 different videos. One for Deep, and the other is an upcoming collab between me and my friend that’s my friends song.

We will call him “Unc”. Unc is a failed rapper who became a videographer to make ends meet. He’s good at it too, and his price is great. $300 for a video. I put down a deposit for $150, and my friend decided to take a deal from him from a special he was running. $450 for 2 videos.

Both these videos are in the editing stages and the one with my friend is almost done. Me and my friend sent him a small list of revisions for him for the video. Unc loses his cool and goes off on my friend through text about it, saying he should be charging $25 per revised video and blah blah blah. The cherry on top is that he posted an IG video ranting about it and yelling at the camera shirtless saying “NEXT YEAR 500 A VIDEO” lmaooo. It was just short of mentioning our names, but the message was loud and clear.

Look, I get juggling multiple videos at once with expectations can be tough but if you really can’t handle some revisions on an almost finished video, why take the job? You can’t get mad about doing it at a lower price when you put up the special and didn’t make any particular conditions before the payments were sent through.

I told my friend to keep his cool through text for the videos sake, but it’s ridiculous. The “woe is me” s***. Im thinking about drafting up a contract for future videographers and myself to sign before any transactions and footage shot, because this is ridiculous.

The yt music app is super solid like just click on a song you like and it’ll play just like stuff that follows it up perfectly weirdly

I also just have it on my tv rn and now that it knows which mixes I like it always suggests good new mixes and adds interesting songs
