The last time I listened to JID in this thread, I crashed out and lost my cool. Why would I wanna listen to an album in this thread with people who mostly don’t like him? And as I’ve said, I’m fine and made peace with people not liking him on here. But the insistence that I be there like people want an encore of me crashing out is uncomfortable.

The Neverstory and DiCaprio 2 are cool to me but I never had the same love for them as I did TFS.

So yes, I am a big fan. Of that one album, not as much overall. And the experience stings because I really did lose my cool and this thread played into it like it was a bit.

I saw him in 2019 on the DiCaprio 2 tour

It was a decent show, like a 7/10. Small venue was cool to see him in. Unfortunately I saw him in a college town so they crowd was college kids riled up with no crowd etiquette.

He told the crowd at one point to chill out or he would have to stop the show

oh yeah i saw him in 2019 too in Toronto. he brought out earthgang and jessie reyez (from toronto) so it was pretty hype in there. earthgang was peaking at the time too in terms of popularity iirc.

No wonder that was the best show you’ve seen, that sounds like fire. I’ve had the privilege of seeing a lot of artists though and have had multiple great experiences
