within ET's delusions, if you buy something that appreciates in value, it's kinda like you're not purchasing anything at all. everything is fungible. nothing means anything.
This tracks value wise and is good financial advice technically
But I think the market for people buying 300 dollar watches is a bit different from the market looking to make multiple thousand dollar watch purchases
this may be the most vapid content i've seen in a while.
there's a mickey mouse gamecube game for $400
i hate this whole culture perhaps

dont fall for the trap of numbers bruises...not everything can be measured in dollars.
I had a colleague who wore a watch on both wrists as a flex
bro was not aura farming

It isn’t a delusion. It’s true. I mean, there’s no reason to keep 5k in a checking account, when you could “keep the 5k” in a vehicle that appreciates value, like a watch
You don't see why it's a bit silly to tell someone to buy something 20x the price when they are looking to buy something ?
Well idk citizen isn’t that cheap either (the watch he first linked)

I would say that it’s stupid as hell to buy a $400 watch. It doesn’t do anything that a $10 watch doesn’t do, and it also doesn’t appreciate or retain value. It’s basically throwing money out the window, and for what?

there's beauty in simplicity
it looked stupid
too much dip principle. a watch already is distracting by nature. an adornment meant to disguise you. wearing two just lifts that curtain too overtly

Well the market would be someone who wants a watch that's a bit nicer than a 10 dollar watch but doesn't have the money to make 5000 dollar watch investments

oh, for a watch. you see in a purchase you usually get something in exchange for the money you spend

Not to mention that keeping money in a checking account is losing value annually due to inflation

just make more...

It’s not nicer though. At that price, you’re probably paying for the name rather than any actual quality parts. Which is always dumb
That’s how they keep you broke

I have a hard time believing there's no quality difference between a 10 dollar watch and a 300 dollar watch
first i gotta make money...then i gotta make sure that my money is ok...then i gotta make sure my purchases always increase my net worth...then i gotta make sure my net worth is ok... how about giving your mom a ring and telling her i love you...maybe you guys should try that...or take a nice walk at 6am

As opposed to what
There isn’t an easy alternative to DoorDash that I’m ignoring
