Chroma id say was a mix of rollout, hype bc he hadn’t dropped in a min, CMIYGL being pretty huge in getting another new fan base for him and right timing. Also music his fans care for / resonate with more
This had no rollout, rough sketches of songs (saw a lot of them saying they felt it was unfinished or demo level or b sides) and no super sticky songs to come back to. Also subject matter isn’t what those sad hipsters wanted to hear
