I have mixed feelings on A.I. On one hand, I don’t mind it as a creative tool and I’ve personally used it before. For cover art and for isolating elements of a sample that I couldn’t isolate beforehand to work with on Logic Pro X. But strictly as a creative tool. Not for being the star of the show.

A.I will continue to be used in the future to make the music creation process easier in the future. For mixing purposes, sample manipulation, sample generation so artists who ask for big money for sample clearances won’t have the same leverage anymore etc.

But Artifical intelligence popstars? Yeah that’s not gonna fly even 10 years from now. Only reason labels are so gun hoe on trying it is because of the greedy prospect of having an “artist” that will make the same generic slop for them and ask for zero in return, retaining all profits made.
