The truth is, and it's something stans are gonna revolt against is that the general public does not want to hear Drake bitter and acting like a victim. They don't care, he lost in the eyes of the majority and Drake is only hurting himself at this point with the bad optics.
Nokia was a hit because he wasn't talking about the beef, and he was just having fun and making a fun pop rap song. If he dialed into that bag for an album instead of making woe is me records, he'd def have greater success again. He will probably realize this finally after the Iceman era is over, but rn he is clouded by anger and bitterness over someone getting the one up on him, who went on an insane run of commercial success.

I think the issue with the numbers thing is that drake makes it of importance to his fans and himsef when he makes it an essential part of why people listen to his music
