I had a friend I was really close to from 2021-2023, like we hung out once a week type s***. Dude was immature and irresponsible, but I did have fun kicking it with him. Until one day, at an outdoor concert my other friend seperate of the friend I’m talking about was throwing, he drank half a bottle of liquor that I had gotten for myself and got so drunk, that I had to drop him off all the way at home which was miles away from the outdoor show and he hadn't discussed it prior. Long story short there, we fell out because of the principal and it took him 7-8 months for him to finally cough up an apology with a new bottle of liquor I requested.

We reconciled, but I kept my distance after that. Today, he hit me up to ask if he could stay with me for the night. When I asked him why, he said "it would be better to tell you in person". This was a red flag, and I told him I wasn't going to let him stay with me if he didn't tell me. So he reluctantly finally told me he got kicked out of his group home (he has a more severe version of autism and can't live on his own, but he's given the autonomy to do as he pleases), for beating up one of his roommates, even though he's on probation for throwing a rock through someones window, someone who he was beefing with. The roommate reported it to the police and Michael violated his probation and was basically on the run, but he tried to downplay it. I asked him if he had any money and he said "no". I told him to ask his grandma if he could stay with her, and If she said no, to come back to me and I'd help him get a motel room or a place at a shelter. I was NOT letting him stay with me and my family and potentially being a legal liability.

Hours later, his grandma told him No and he hit me back on some passive aggressive s***, telling me that I was in his place, he'd let me stay at his place. I pressed him a bit, asking what he meant by that. He told me I was being a terrible friend and I blocked him. This the same dude who told me he was gonna come to my birthday party and ditched it at the last second because "the weather was bad and my mental health was at an all time low".

Bum s*** fr, hope he enjoys jail.
