P was playing the nice “gay” chords and singing in falsetto but he produced some of the biggest hits of the 2000s with Chad. Like he had an outreach that was way beyond a niche.
Tyler being able to do what he does without artistic compromise is commendable. But he will never have the same outreach as Pharrell and The Neptunes, nor will he ever be a top 10 producer ever.
