My main takeaway from a sabrina carpenter song is always that its super solid

like strip it from the antonoff production for a sec and just listen to these songs stripped down to their essence

these are really well written and entertaining pop songs

taylor has great stuff but it’s becoming so same-y because musically she has a very small arsenal of songwriting tricks

we’ve heard every cadence, chord progression, harmony, etc she’s capable of, many times over.

and this is common for a lot of artists but it’s a criticism I bring up for her cus songwriting is supposed to be her main selling point
