I'm not going to judge a 2000s show that repeatedly addressed news and opinions that were important in the 2000s for doing that

The show is about the Mafia in the 2000s

I still don't understand what the issue is with the story except that which is odd.

Vito was a mostly uninteresting character before that, sure, then an element of his character which impacted the plot was revealed and the show focused on him a bit (I don't think they went overboard with this). They even lead up to it in an interesting way which tied into other characters story in the show

@nort I really appreciate you taking the time to chop it up on the mixing details

Can you do me one last favor and retype some of those notes as if you were telling another engineer how to implement those changes to the track? Some of the vocabulary you’re using, I’m not as familiar with. Although I do plan on using a good amount of your notes. Some of it will stay the same for artistic reasons, but some of the leveling and EQing will definitely change for sure.

@nort Like I’m at the point now in the mixing stage where I struggle to distinguish what exactly could be changed from a mixing POV and I will struggle to communicate some of that to my engineer

For example, you say that the first half of track 2 struggles with sounding to “muddy”. Ok fair enough. But I don’t really know how to explicitly fix that.
