Season 6 fell off in quality because of writer strikes

It has consistently been good idk what you mean

Part 2 is great but I didn’t need 6 episodes of obese gay romance plotline

Like obviously that was super progressive for the time and makes historical sense for a groundbreaking show but it hasn’t held up as an interesting plot in 2025

That part was still an interesting story and was impactful on Tony's relationship with Phil

And it's not like that was the only story that was going on

It just felt like it replaced the way more interesting Adriana storyline and didn’t really hit for me

It really doesn’t have anything to do that, if he was in a romance with a woman or whatever, it would be the same. He just wasn’t an interesting character to me in the least

Like he was supposed to be this guy that could even replace Tony as the head, but became a tragic character instead primarily only because he was LGBT, but they never really did a good job making him seem like someone that could be on the level of Tony

He was the best earner in the entire family and ran his stuff well

Also was generally well liked by everyone

Also had a close connection to new York due to his relationship with Phil

But they really just showed this by him stating it rather than his actions or his “gangsta”

Well yeah he wasn't involved in much drama that would be very entertaining for the show because he focused on his work and performed well at his tasks

Until it was revealed he was gay which made for interesting drama for the show
