what's your fav song?
Oh my god way too many
The Man Comes Around
I Hung My Head
She Used To Love Me Alot
A Boy Named Sue
I Won't Back Down
Johnny in my top 5 OAT
Realistically you should have it on hand for as many hits as possible. If you have certain counters planned in advance + links, it gives you a slight upperhand imo.
I’ve also noticed that it can work in your favor too if the song that counters is not only better, but matches up well with the opposing song. Like Find A Way is a classic love song, Ms. Jackson is ALSO a classic love song that the majority considered better.
I only have counters for songs that I consider threats. There's hits that I know I can't beat, so that's when I can play what I favor the most.
Out of all your battles, which song in your mind did you think would be an automatic W but loss to a unexpected song?

Elevators losing shook me tbh. I thought that one would be an automatic win but Electric Relaxation being used as a rebuttal was a smart chess move because not only did people consider it better, but it was a good match to Elevators.

idk man. Song Cry should've won against Power. idc what anybody says.

I’m glad I lost that battle against Ye because I understood that Ye is basically unbeatable on here and that sometimes the rush isn’t worth the matchup.
I’ve been more careful about which matchups I agree to be apart of. I don’t agree to a battle unless I feel confident in my odds.
Even if I lose though, I will never act like Devoted. I’m a good winner and loser.

As long as I can represent someone I love I'll do it but it can't be someone I'm just a casual fan of. It would be a disservice to them and myself because my heart wouldn't be in it.
Another positive about these events is that this is the most Jeezy I've listened to in years and it's because of choosing counters and seeing what songs still hit.
never seen you just say "i f***ed up". you keep telling people to post the bad songs and saying we didn't vote
some people didnt vote which is a fact lmao. I didn't know what yall wanted me to pick lol. Let me see your 20.

I think he just had a mental breakdown. He probably went in thinking with all his work he would win 15-5 or something but when he was struggling to win with the weekend best songs he lost it.

If he planned it for a few years then why choose two DawnFM singles knowing the reputation that album has ? or Trust Issues (Remix) vs one of JT's biggest features? That could've been a throw pick but it was too late in the game for that kind of move.

He failed because he failed to truly understand his opponents music and what to play against him. He was playing a lot of Weeknds slower, moodier cuts against JT which worked on an artist like Drake but to go up against JT, he needed to dip into Weeknds Max Martin pop bag almost exclusively.
And of course his behavior was repulsive afterwards too which only added salt in the wound. If you’re taking a fun competition so seriously that you have a mental breakdown if things don’t go your way, then you really shouldn’t be repping to begin with.

Oops. I forgot to update it. It's between you and our host. I think he'll give you Ye though.
@RocMarci Do you also wanna represent Doom in the producer tournament?

I think he just didn't know his audience.

It's clear he not right in the head 🤣
I feel like people take internet stuff too personal. I've gotten death threats and harassed before but that s*** dont faze me at all. I know people just sayin it for reactions🤣🤣

it was confusing at first with the trilogy and kissland requests but eventually everybody was crying for hits

I think match up was more unbalanced than people thought tbh.
Songs they produced for others would be the ideal VZ cuz ittl make people remember all the amazing s*** they've done. And not just their own Discography.
Ittl also make the reps really choose wisely and not rely on ez picks.
It would Handicap Ye and Dre barely which would make the Tournament more fair.
Overall.
So yea I'd say they can't use their own songs.
They can do Songs they've produced.
And songs their featured in as long as they've obviously produced the track as well.
Lemme kno if y'all don't like that tho.
I’ll agree not to use Dre’s solo s*** if Ye rep can’t use his solo s***

Sure
Nick theme songs vs Disney theme songs
Who's repping who?
