Depends on how deep u end up going (my time is with a lot of end game stuff and just taking it slow in general), and if u bought Sunbreak too (if u like the base game, do it 100% the final rank its always the best part of mh)

But depending on how well u do, finishing the story (end of high rank), takes between 40-60 hours depends on a lot tbh, like bad rng for a drop or if u do a lot of weapon/armor building.
