if i had to align myself with any philosophical ideology i think itd be absurdism

the situations and how he reacts are absurd but i don't think it's just about absurdism im only 3 chapters in and it seems more like he's a nihilist and the author is almost meta commenting on how absurd it is we're looking for meaning in life

the protagonist has no interests in life and just floats day by day, hates nature and only really consumes vices like cigarettes, coffee, women (a girl so far)
