and a lot of the time a "bike lane" is like 2 inches and a painted line, that ends up going over turning lanes and mfs dont drive straight... totally unsafe and unreasonably unrealistic

J was basically controlling the entire band and eventually they ended up kicking Lou out. Then the original drummer left too

Then the albums were basically j mascis solo albums for the rest of the 90s

In the mid 2000s J Mascis started randomly showing up to Lou Barlows shows. He apparently never really acknowledged that Lou Barlow was upset with him after putting him in a 10 year long state of turmoil and didn't understand why he was mad

Then they reunited and made even more good music

If you watch any J Mascis interview it makes that situation dramatically funnier because he seems like the most frustrating person in the world to be upset with

J Mascis wasn't letting anyone else have any creative control in the band and was just passively dismissive
