lets say you broke your back and you cant walk properly and cant work because of the pain. Then you get on the pre retirement plan after some years in the system(they have to test you and it wont be easy for you) but when you get through the system, and they say okay you cant work. Then you will get 3050 dollars a month if you live alone and you can do what you want. And even so, if you can work few hours a month you can earn up to 12k dollars a year before tax before they take a little amount of the 3050
