because normies love the social media part of letterboxd
and are scared off by the turbo autism of rym. which is in fact its greatest quality
i think people also get an idea that the RYM chart rankings and stuff matter more to its users than the letterboxd ones but idk
I love to make fun of rym users
And I wouldnt want to be friends with one of them
But I would be lying if I said I didn't find some of my favorite stuff from some of the charts or lists they put together
