Even then I doubt he’s the one hiring anyone. He is the public face and the money man. That’s about it.

Buys Twitter. Runs it into the ground. Gets kicked out PayPal his own company he started. Proposes hyper loop as a means of preventing actual high speed rail (stupid idea from the jump) hasn’t made more than two miles of it. Largely propped up by government subsidies aka my tax money just to f*** off and gut social programs as if he doesn’t essentially benefit from one as well.

He wasnt a founder of the original Paypal company or Tesla — the vision for those companies was already written down and being pursued. Elon came into the picture and then scaled it upwards, and kept the ship steering in the direction it was already chugging towards.

Space X is a different story though but obviously I’m more keen to credit the rocket scientists as well.

Tesla was on the verge of bankruptcy which Elon saved it from. There would be no Tesla today without Elon. So the “it was already chugging towards” is a misnomer

This isn’t true. And this is far from the general spin Elon was getting before all of this Trump stuff over the recent years. You should read more old interviews and biographical write ups on him. All this hate and narratives are recent. He was always known to be boots on the ground and heavily involved in his projects.

Twitter was just recently reported this week to now be at the same valuation as when Musk initially bought it. Idk much about hyper loop progress but even if it failed or is failing, nobody has a 100% success rate on endeavors.

Electric car companies even today with the technology being much more advanced are going bankrupt and out of business left and right.

I’m not drinking kool aid. I’ve been following Elon for like 15 years. He was universally loved by everyone up until like 4 years ago.
