But from my understanding it’s that, they cutting federal spending and the ATC workforce aging out. On the latter I heard there is also a freeze on the hiring process for it as well

i think he deserves some credit for being a big part in original blending of styles. across different eras too

its not like he was just a good handsome white singer who had everything thrust in front of him and had no creative vision
His whole foundation from the jump though was taking what talented rhythm and blues singers wrote and singing it in a commercially digestible way and labeling it “rock and roll”. He’s literally the biggest offender of that.
