There are so few hip hop artists putting out really good and memorable albums these days. While $$$ isn’t a classic I think the plateau of consistent quality drake has reached and his prolificness is outstanding

It is! I try to keep my like criticism to the same standard personally though ngl. Keeping in mind people on the site are learning and growing which is different than already being a professional. If that makes sense.

I’m not talking about the last 5 years, I’m talking about this album specifically. It’s getting panned for a reason and huge Drake fans like Bmass are coming away disappointed and frustrated trying to articulate it. It’s not a “hate mob”, it’s wack.

But I don't listen to it anymore after spamming it for a month

Just because bmass doesn’t like it mean its getting panned lol lots of great art gets panned lots of mid gets glazed. The best art is divisive 50/50. If everyone likes something it isnt being taken far enough.
Again if one of my friends wrote even one of these songs i would lose my mind, it’s great song writing lol. It just serves a different purpose than youre looking for which is fine
