Have at least 4 hard drives:
System drive - Internal ssd (or hdd, if you still have those lol)
Work Drive and Sound Library Drive - External SSDs all the way
Lastly....
A Backup Drive - External HDD
For system drives, just make sure you have the software of the VSTs you have, but make sure to have all the presets on your Sound Library Drive
Have your Pro Tools/FL Studio/Logic Project sessions saved on both your Work and Backup drives
It's important to never lose ya work
Backup drives are really important too, because you need that super high storage
