yea the first meaning is the literal super bowl. the great american game. second meaning I think was like basically what Wesley's Theory and the first few tracks of TPAB were about - the Samuel L stuff seemed to echo the TPAB stuff. and third meaning is competitive rap/drake

(just my 2 cents not saying there wasnt some other meaning)

i thought samuel L was great but i would have re-written his dialogue a little bit because it felt kinda generic and didnt hit as hard as it coulda

I can’t imagine how nerve wracking that whole experience must be. Just 10 minutes of hitting your mark and doing it all live hoping you don’t f*** up

Audio mixing was ass for the first half and ofc Kendrick did his whole skip words thing but still he did his best I respect him not using any backing track

I would put Dots in the same tier as The Weeknd’s. They were both pretty good, not flawless but enjoyable.

As far as Kendricks role in the show, he nailed it. I never caught him messing up lyrics, breath control was good, you could hear everything enunciated well after they raised his mic volume, seemingly hit his cues well.

I got zero complaints on that end.

Weirdly he doesn’t really do it at his tours from what I’ve seen but he does it a lot on tv
